Volunteer Shifts for the 2024 Dream Playground
​Re-Build Are Now Open!

​Thanks to massive public support from individuals, businesses, service groups, the City of Port Angeles, and other organizations, the Dream Playground Foundation is thrilled to officially announce the dates for the rebuilding of the Dream Playground!
Just like in 2021, this will be a community build effort. We have already received dozens of messages from individuals who want to pitch in; as well as from contractors and other professionals who have expertise, skilled crews, and equipment to lend. 
The build will take place Wednesday, May 15 to Sunday, May 19 and will end with a casual celebration on Sunday afternoon. 

• Shifts are available to anyone age 14 and up (children under 14 are not allowed on site).
• Minors age 14 - 17 may not use power tools.
• "Skilled Worker" shifts are exclusively for those 18 and over who have experience with woodworking power tools such as hand routers; compound Miter, table, jig, sawzall/reciprocating, and circular saws. Skills in framing/building and finish carpentry are also extremely helpful.
• If you are a contractor or have special equipment you can donate to the rebuild, please contact us and/or make a note of it in the comment section when you sign up for shifts.
• Volunteers with mobility issues are welcome. Please tell us what accommodations you need and we will find a position for you.

Shift times:

• Full day: 8am - 4:30pm
• Morning: 8am - 12pm
• Afternoon: 12:30 - 4:30pm
• Evening: 5 - 8:30pm

Free meals will be provided to volunteers at 12pm and 4:30pm.
